Understanding: our Clients’ objectives and budget is the first and most important step in the collaborative process of business signage design and gratified customers. We meet with our clients throughout Los Angeles and the Southern California region to gain a clear understanding of their sign project and the client’s objectives with their signage. We recommend the appropriate sign tools/materials/methods to best reflect our mutual understanding.
Sign Design: Our design team will create your custom sign design using your existing artwork or by creating new art based on your initial design concept. Our computerized designs will illustrate the materials, lighting and sign placement in its proposed location.
Site Survey: We survey the location of the proposed sign, take pictures and dimensions of fascia, building and lot, inspect the site for mounting considerations and electrical access and look for any visibility obstructions. We produce scale drawings of the sign renderings showing sign dimensions, construction, mounting methods and any engineering calculations. Our goal is to clearly communicate the proposal so as to gain consensus of the client, landlord and municipality.
Permitting/Engineering: We navigate the complex permitting environment of the jurisdictional municipality, provide any engineering calculations required and comply with the often challenging and sometimes confusing requirements to obtain the permit for construction for our signs.
Fabrication and Installation: Our in-house fabricators produce most of our signage; we use wholesale foundry produced cast metal letters and logos. Our in-house installers install the signage, meet with the jurisdictional inspectors and obtain the permit sign-off. We warranty all our work.
